About

The innovative idea of R.I.S was brought up in 1998. Rosans as it was and is called was in existence even before 1998, but not in its true and desired form. In the same year some bold steps were taken, instead of massive construction, absolute transformation was done thus the end of Rosans Public School marked the beginning of “Rosans Islamic School”

The School’s Purpose

The purpose of schooling is to develop a child holistically. The holistic development of a child means his/her physical, cognitive, social, emotional and moral development. The management of Rosans Islamic School therefore believes that the holistic development of a child can only be brought about by living in accordance to the teachings of Islam. Based on this belief, the school policies, programmes, curriculum and culture have been derived from the Holy Quran and the Sunnah of the Holy Prophet (P.B.U.H). The Rosans Islamic School prides itself in the comprehensive Tarbiah programme. Today the biggest challenge is the tarbiah of our children. The Tarbiah is based on Islamic moral values according to Holy Quran and Sunnah. Children are our biggest asset. The future of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and Islamic Ummah lies in the hands of the next generation. The development of our children depends on parental upbringing, family values, community spirit, mentoring by teachers and the children themselves. We believe that 90% of Deen is “Good Akhlaq”. Telling the truth, honest dealings, avoiding hypocrisy and learning to practice Sabr or Patience. Together with religious and moral development, we believe in developing a child as a whole person with:

  • Desire for truth, honesty, and respect for others.
  • Inculcate feelings of responsibility for him/herself and the environment.
  • Leadership quality and desire to serve and work as a part of a team.
  • Encourage students to lead a healthy life style free of general social bad habits.
  • Self reliance under all circumstances is one of the main aims we strive for.

Why choose R.I.S?

  • To provide quality education according to Cambridge University (O-Levels).
  • To provide and support environment according to Holy Quran and Sunnat.
  • To provide committed, motivated, talented and knowledgeable teaching staff.
  • To provide modern facilities such as Computer lab, Science lab, Library, Montessori Material lab and adequate playing fields.
  • To facilitate, develop children’s soft skills such as creative thinking, stimulate them intellectually and prepare them to compete in this fast paced world of technology.
  • To promote excellence through continuous improvement without compromise on Islamic Values.

Q

What are the examinations and evaluation procedures thoughout a year?

A

We have the latest checking system at Rosans i.e. Continuous Assessment Tests (C.A.T). There are four (tests) C.A.Ts held throughout a year. The final result is based on the average of all the four tests. The students with a low average in the final result of Maths, English and Sciences have to sit for a retest before being promoted to the next class. For O/L, we follow the GCSE exam pattern. It’s a three year program starting from Grade 9 to 11 O/L. The system used for I.T examination is IGCSE.
