History
Froebel Education Centre first came into existence as “Mariam’s Nursery” in 1982, a small nursery that rapidly grew in popularity and repute.
In 1991 it moved to new premises, expanded in scale and became “Froebel Nursery and Kindergarten and Froebel Education Center” with kindergarten, primary and junior sections.
A senior school was added on in 1998 thus making Froebel Education Centre a complete school ranging from kindergarten to secondary.
An in house training facility established in 2008 provides ongoing teacher training courses to fulfill the dual purpose of guiding teachers in the process of lesson planning and implementation while at the same time monitoring the maintenance of high quality teaching. It also functions as a provider of trainee teachers through its fourteen week certificate course that encompasses a range of critical skills and knowledge essential for teachers.
Throughout the years the core values of the school have remained the same and the school retains its coziness and family like atmosphere with a closely knit relationship between students, teachers and parents. The students are nurtured in a happy and relaxed environment where they are allowed to grow and develop at their own pace emotionally and academically.
