Aitchison College, Lahore, is one of the most prestigious educational institutions of its kind in South Asia. It has retained its character over the years, maintaining the public school tradition of providing quality education that uses academic, sports and co-curricular activities as tools for character development. The initial emphasis, when it was founded, on educating only the sons of the elite of the province has given way to a diversified curriculum, more suited to an egalitarian mix of pupils drawn from all parts of our country. Boys accepted into Aitchison College agree to take part in a broad and challenging curriculum.While very good academic results are expected, so too is engagement with sports, clubs and activities. What are the age criteria for admission 2020-21 year?

Admission to Year 1 (K-1): For boys who will have reached the age of five years. Their birthday lies in the range: 1st June, 2014 – 31st May, 2015 inclusive. Boys seeking admission to K-1 are committed to remain as Boarders for a minimum of eight years. Boys living in Lahore or in the vicinity need not apply. Please note that withdrawal of the boy from the Boarding House will mean that he loses his place at the College.

Admission to Year 2 (K-2): For boys who will have reached the age of six years. Their birthday lies in the range: 1st June, 2013 – 31st May, 2014 inclusive.

Admission to Year 3 (K-3) to Year 5 (K5) and Year 7 (E2): The number of places offered is very limited, except for Year 7 (E2). The boy will be tested according to his age group. The applicant must achieve the required rank within the number of available vacancies.

Aitchison College is an independent, semi-private boys school for boarding and day students from grade 1–13. The school is located in Lahore, Pakistan. Established in 1886 as Aitchison College, it has a tradition of providing an education that uses academics, sports, and co-curricular activities as tools for character development. The school follows a curriculum designed to culminate in the International General Certificate of Education and AS Level/A Level qualifications and is geared towards preparing students for university education. Almost 90% of boys who graduate study overseas for their bachelor program with many gaining entry to the world\'s top universities. The institute is the only Cambridge Examination Centre situated in a school, also being a member of G20 Schools of the World.
